Information Technology Traineeship - School based

Multiple Traineeship opportunities are available now in both Public Senior and Primary Schools across South Australia.
About you:
- You are a keen enthusiast of all things Information Technology
- You will be employed for 1 day a week (7.6 hours) and trained on the job in a school
- You will be working towards completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Information Communication Technology
- You will be able to use your completed qualification results towards achieving your SACE
- You will have a workplace mentor, to assist and guide you as you begin your career
- You will have a dedicated MEGT Field officer to support you as you learn and grow and complete your qualification and your SACE
- You are currently completing Year 10, 11 or 12

- Well-presented and well spoken
- Motivated and driven to both complete SACE and your chosen qualification
What might you be involved in during your working day:
- Select, install and use computer software and hardware
- Assist student and teachers alike with instructions around operating system software
- Problem solve, investigate and present solutions to your customers re their IT needs
- Interpretation of software manual instructions
- Create user documentation
What can you expect as part of the Recruitment process:
The first step is that you may be contacted by a member of our friendly team, and be invited to participate in a Group assessment, either face to face or virtually and should your application progress to the next stage we will ask you to provide us with documentation that supports the following, and we will help you manage these pre employment checks:
- Working with children check
- You must participate in a VET Readiness Orientation assessment
- You must participate in a RRHAN assessment - Mandatory Notification Training - Fundamentals course
- Be invited to meet with the Principal of the school you will be working with for a second interview
